Donald Trump Tells Regis and Kelly About His Sarah Palin Pizza Lunch (VIDEO)

Donald Trump met with Sarah Palin for some pizza and politics Tuesday in New York City. Today, Trump phoned in to 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) to shed light on his conversation with Palin, Trump's on again/off again aspirations to run for president, and Palin's own plans.

It has been assumed that Palin will seek the Republican nomination for the 2012 election, but she has yet to make any official announcement. Trump said he asked her the question directly. "I don't want to give anything away, but I'm not sure that she knows the answer herself," he said on 'Live.' "She hates what's happening to the country, she hates what's going on with respect to the economy and jobs, and many of the same issues I have."

Regis Philbin asked if a Palin/Trump ticket might be in the offing. Trump said he'd always liked the sound of Trump/Regis, or even Regis/Trump. But Philbin wouldn't have a show to promote come election season once he retires.
