Texas A & M is One of the Most Dangerous Teams in Omaha
After an up and down series against Florida State, the Texas A & M Aggies punched their ticket to Omaha with an 11-2 victory on Monday.
The Aggies' pitching has been phenomenal at times. Stellar pitching can carry a team a long way in the College World Series. Texas A & M isn't the favorite in Omaha by any means, but they have nothing to lose and their style of play makes them one of the most dangerous teams still in contention.
The Aggies take on South Carolina on June 19th. The question is, will the team that beat Florida State 11-2 show up, or will we see the embarrassing team that allowed 23 runs just a game prior?
Michael Wacha put on a show to close out the series, allowing only three hits in 7 1/3 inning. If they can build on that performance and carry that momentum into Omaha, there is no telling how far the Aggies are going to be able to go in the College Baseball World Series.
