2011 NBA Draft Results in Charlotte Bobcats Taking Jeremy Tyler at Pick No. 39
Sometimes it's better to be patient.
Jeremy Tyler was one of the most highly touted prospects in his class when he was a junior in high school. He decided to forgo his senior season to go play overseas. After one disastrous season and another mediocre one, Tyler decided to enter the draft.
The best thing about him is that he has an NBA body at 6-10, 245 pounds. He is a solid rebounder and can finish with both hands.
But he comes with question marks.
Most scouts agree that his overall skill level is low and he will never be able compete against the best players in the world.
The bigger concern is his immaturity.
Bouncing around Europe and not evening getting your high school diploma?
That's not a good sign for future success. He gets his opportunity to play in the NBA, but he must put in a lot of work if he plans on cracking the Bobcats rotation.
