U.S. national team star Landon Donovan has filed for divorce from his wife, actress Bianca Kajlich, according to TMZ.The pair married in 2006 and have been separated since 2009, but Donovan -- citing irreconcilable differences -- officially filed the paperwork on Tuesday.
In a slightly surprising twist -- especially when it comes to divorces involving pro athletes -- Donovan is seeking spousal support and legal fees from Kajlich. While Donovan makes $2.1 million per year with the Los Angeles Galaxy, Kajlich is an actress on the successful CBS sitcom, Rules of Engagement.
