Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe came into today's game against the Arizona Cardinals as one of the hottest receivers in the NFL.
Bowe was coming off a game in which he caught 13 passes for 186 yards and scored two touchdowns, with most of it against one of the best corners in the game, Champ Bailey.
He also came into Sunday's game with an amazing eight touchdown catches in his last five games, which has helped make him become the go-to receiver in this Chiefs offense.
Today against Arizona, D-Bowe made it clear that he wasn't about to be slowed down against a defense that ranked 27th in the NFL in defending the pass coming into play.
Bowe lit up the Cardinals secondary for 109 receiving yards and added two more touchdown catches to what is becoming a masterful season for the former first-round pick out of LSU.
Bowe's most impressive play in today's game was when he caught a Matt Cassel pass over the middle of the field, made a cut and took it pay dirt as part of a 38-yard TD pass and run. This play not only capped off yet another wonderful day for Bowe, but also completely took the life out of the Cardinals.
Kansas City has been expecting plays like this out of Bowe ever since the Chiefs took him the '07 draft, with many high hopes that he would one day become the franchise wide receiver that they have never had before.

We might be starting to see that this season, as Dwayne his elevated his game to a level that hasn't been achieved by many receivers wearing a KC uniform.
With the help of Dwayne Bowe's sudden resurgence, Kansas City is suddenly in sole possession of first place in the AFC West with just six games to go on the season.
At times, he is just taken over games for his team, whether it has been through an excellent block to sprung a solid run or even a long touchdown catch and run of his own.
Dwayne Bowe is starting to understand how to be a better receiver in this league, and the Chiefs hope that he can continue his show, D-Bowe or not, to help this franchise well into the future.
