2011 NBA Mock Draft: Darius Morris an Option for New York Knicks at Point Guard?
The Knicks will undoubtedly be looking to find a successor to Chauncey Billups at the point guard position, and although they've been linked to big names on the 2012 free agent market like Deron Williams and Chris Paul, they may choose to groom the future from within.
Morris, a 6'4" point guard out of Michigan, is one of the hottest names climbing up the big boards of NBA teams right now after a very impressive showing at the combine.
He made monumental leaps and bounds in his sophomore season in college before turning pro, and it appears that he may have made the proper decision.

Although he's going to take some time to develop into a capable starter, Morris would be an excellent student of the game under veteran leader Chauncey Billups.
With Billups' knee still not right heading into the offseason, the team would be wise to invest in future talent at the position through the draft.
If the Knicks come out of the draft once again without a viable option at the position, fans of the team are going to be clamoring for a whole lot more than they'll be able to produce.
