Despite rushing for 561 yards in the final three games of the 2009 season, Browns running back Jerome Harrison was traded to the Eagles earlier this week in exchange for running back Mike Bell.
But Cleveland head coach Eric Mangini insisted that Harrison was not in the team's dog house, and offered one reason why Harrison hadn't seen much playing time this season: Peyton Hillis.
Mangini said that the surprising emergence of Hillis as the team's feature back was the main factor in the team's decision to send Harrison to Philadelphia.
Mangin also said he felt that Bell was "more of a fit for us and...Jerome was a good fit for them.?
It is unclear whether either back will play this week although Mangini said he hopes to get Bell on the field for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.
Meanwhile, Harrison is expected to eventually be the primary backup to LeSean McCoy in Philly.
