John Wall Debut: Wizards Lose Big as Wall Struggles

John Wall made his debut in the NBA Thursday night against the Orlando Magic.

Despite the presence of the polarizing rookie, it was more of the same for the Washington Wizards.

Wall finished with 14 points and nine assists on just 6-of19 shooting as the Magic cruised to a 112-83 win.

Although he struggled in his first regular season game as a pro, Wall should be able to produce plenty of strong performances this season.

Expect the NBA's rookie of the year race to go down to the wire with Evan Turner and Blake Griffin providing fantastic challengers to Wall.

Both Turner and Griffin shined in their NBA debuts Wednesday night.
