Boston come from behind to beat La Lakers and tie NBA finals

? Celtics win 96-89 to tie best-of-seven series at 2-2
? Pierce top scores with 19 points

The Boston Celtics came from behind in the final quarter to beat the Los Angeles Lakers and level their NBA finals series at 2-2.

The Celtics trailed by two points going into the last period but won it 36-27 to complete a 96-89 victory and prevent the Lakers from pulling clear in the series.

Kobe Bryant scored 33 points for the visitors but, despite another disappointing showing from Ray Allen, the Celtics refused to throw in the towel.

Paul Pierce top scored for Boston with 19 points.
