Cheyenne Woods wins ACC title looks toward future
Different gender, same great golfer.
Well maybe not quite the same.
On Sunday there was a Woods winning a golf tournament, but it wasn?t who you would expect. Tiger Woods? niece, Cheyenne Woods took home the ACC title by finishing with a five under par Sedgefield Country Club.
Cheyenne is the daughter of Tigers half-brother Earl Woods Jr. She?s a student at the University of North Carolina.
The question is: will we see Cheyenne on the pro circuit someday?

There?s no question that the LPGA would love to have her on tour. Any relation to Tiger is good for the sports because it helps to bring in advertising dollars.
As a junior she is likely to see what lies ahead before she makes any decisions, but if she?s got any talent at all, even if there is no real pro aspirations, it would make sense for her to go out and capitalize on her own fame and make a few dollars before hanging them up and pursuing the kind of career she might really want.
However, if Tiger?s play continues to dwindle she could find that her own stock would be on the decline. It?s the price you pay for having the most successful uncle in the middle of the biggest draught of his career.
