The NFL via Commissioner Roger Goodell, announced today that the owners have finally come to an agreement over the infamous CBA. Ending the longest lockout in the history of the National Football League.
Well almost. The players still have to ratify (finish grand-standing) and agree, but no worries Niner fans. The players will not stop it now. The rest is just posturing. Look for players to return to facilities on Saturday.
What does this mean for Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers?
It means it’s time to get to work!
If you know anything about Jim Harbaugh, you know this lockout has been killing him. The man loves football. You can guarantee he has been prepared for this day for months now.
The lockout, plus the excitement of being a first year coach has no doubt been a crazy combination for a man like Jim Harbaugh to deal with.
After all, the man is a fierce competitor and tireless work-a-holic.
”I don’t take vacations. I don’t get sick. I don’t observe major holidays. I’m a jackhammer,” said Harbaugh.

I can imagine him up late many nights talking with Trent Baalke about the same things over and over again, tweaking the playbook, scribing different lineups, the works. That is all over now.
Now it is time to get to work.
Players, Coaches, and Fans a like, I am happy for us all.
